Project Description

In preparation for a busy Market Event we were contracted to install Electrical Cabinets for the Market to enable us to supply Electricity to all the stalls that required it on market day. Challenges involved providing electricity to each market stall a tight timescale from traders arriving and setting up to customers arriving and working in a busy Market environment was overcome from good preparation and organisation. Strict controls were in place to ensure minimum risk of accidents.

Works for Newark Market Place included the Supply & Fit of 3 no lockable Electrical cabinets with Cable entry allowing main doors to be closed while in use, all inclusive of a Metal Clad distribution Board with RCBO circuit breaker for each final circuit. Once the installation of the Electrical Boxes was completed we were re-contracted to attend during the event Market and ensure the power supply to each market stall including the test and certification of the supply before use.

Works involved assisting the Market traders during a busy event Market with the supply of electricity from the new electrical boxes to the market stalls, including the setup and dismantling of all electrical equipment and the testing of all electrical equipment used.
