Project Description

Huthwaite Roofing Supplies Contract was a 22 week project for the demolition and Build of a New Warehouse, Showroom and Offices in Huthwaite. Working alongside the main contractor we have successfully completed an Electrical Design and Build package for £67,000.00 to include the following:

• Hand dryers
• Inside lighting throughout entire building
• Outside lighting, lamp posts and flood lights
• Electrics doors
• Sockets and switches internal and external
• Electrical to signage
• Supply and wiring of showers
• Disabled alarms in toilet
• Over door heaters
• Electric shutters supply and insulation
• Drawings & O&M Manuals
• Fire alarm installation and commissioning
• Intruder alarm installation and commissioning
• Data Cabling
• Installation of main distribution boards and sub mains
• Power installation
• Lighting installation
• Supply and installation of Electric heater inclusive of under floor heating and towel rails
• Supply wire and fit water heaters
• Ventilation
• Hand dryers

During time on site works were co-ordinated effectively with other trades and the main contractor, this was a great success due to the allocation of an Electrical Manager to oversee and plan all Electrical works on site. The Electrical Manager communicated effectively on a regular basis with other contractors to ensure that our team of engineers were helping the project to run as efficient as possible.

Design works were completed in house, we feel this has a positive effect on the understanding of works required and provides ease to discuss areas of uncertainty via easy communication links from site to our head office.
